JG Engineering appointed to carry out a large topographical survey of the existing Barmouth North Promenade to allow the designer and main contractor to prepare a flood defence scheme to prevent future flood in the area. The survey involved the initial letter drop of 350 house to let local residents know of the upcoming survey works, installing initial site control by means of traverse and level run of 22 survey stations, topographical survey of 1.8klm of beach, 1.9km of roads, and 1.5km of the sea wall/promenade. It was truly a rewarding project for JG Engineering to be involved in!
